Cara’s Camo Collection by Rimmel London

So, I thought I’d give these a try the other day when I saw them in Superdrug, the camo print Union Jack packaging caught my eye. I bought a mascara, a nude lipstick, and 2 nail polishes, a khaki and nude shade.

Mascara – The product applies really well, the applicator wand is plastic, which I always prefer as it stops the mascara looking clumpy. It lifts and separates the lashes quite well, it didn’t add much volume but my lashes did seem noticeably longer and lifted after about 3 coats. I wore this mascara without any eyeliner and felt like my eyes still looked bigger, brighter and more awake, which I love! I’d definitely recommend it!

Lipstick - in shade 45 - This is such a lovely nude shade, and has a slightly pinky touch to it. This is one of the few nude lipsticks that didn’t make me look drained or ill! It lasted a couple of hours, unfortunately it did not survive lunch. I love the shade and felt it really suited my skin tone, it’s got a great texture and felt creamy when applied and did not dry out my lips. To be honest I prefer wearing matte lipsticks and ones that don't transfer or smudge easily, but I liked the shade enough that I would wear this again anyway.

Nail Polish - Camo Girl and Dessert Disguise - These were nice, Camo Girl is a Khaki shade and Dessert Disguise is a gorgeous nude shade. I don’t often where dark colours on my nails, I prefer something bright and girly or neutral colours for day to day wear, but I have to admit the khaki looked very good on. I felt like the applicator brushes were not very well made and were a bit uneven which made it hard for the product to be applied smoothly, but the actual colours were lovely. Most importantly, both colours lasted very well. I’m glad I bought these and will use them again for sure.
