I’m really big on taking care of my skin, especially as I wear makeup most of the time, I really make sure to try and clean my skin as deeply as possible to avoid getting spots. I'm always changing my skin care routine and trying new products but here are a few of my favourites from the last month / six weeks that I’ve been using frequently.
Garnier SkinActive Oil infused Micellar water

The first to get a mention and the product that has impressed me the most is this Garnier oil infused Micellar water. It honestly makes removing makeup so much easier, even waterproof eye makeup. It takes hardly any effort to get my eye make up off, something that I used to hate doing before! I’m also going through fewer cotton pads as well now which is another bonus of using this product. It’s not as effortless as they make it look in the adverts (obviously) but it is by far the best makeup remover I have ever used and I will definitely be sticking with this one from now on. GO OUT AND BUY THIS PEOPLE!! I highly recommend it!
Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb night cream

I’ve been using this for just over three weeks now and it has really softened my skin, it's also left my skin feeling alot more hydrated. I'm really impressed with it! It has more of a gel like consistency than a cream, but it feels really nourishing. A little bit of this goes a long way, you really don't need use much at all. It doesn’t just disappear into my skin like other creams I’ve used either, even when I woke up in the morning my skin felt liked I’d just moisturised it. At first, I must say I wasn’t sure about that, and I felt it made me feel a bit greasy, but after seeing the results I don’t mind it now as that is obviously part of what makes it such a good night cream and give such great results. This is another one that I would highly recommend.
Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed heating deep pore detox mask

This is really nice, I don’t often have long to sit waiting for a face mask so the fact that this is ready to wipe off in 5 minutes is great for me. You just apply it, massage it in a bit (it has chunky exfoliating beads in it) leave it to warm up, then wipe off with a damp cloth. My skin feels really fresh and deeply cleansed after using it, I think wiping it away with a cloth as opposed to rinsing it off probably makes it more effective as you’re wiping away any dead skin as well. They recommend doing the mask once a week, what I do is have a full face mask once a week, and then apply to my problem areas (nose, forehead and chin) every few nights. I’m loving the results so far.
Dead Sea Spa Magik Spot-on gel

I've been putting this on my blemishes for a while now, I feel like it does really calm the redness, I also feel like the spots are healing up / drying up a lot quicker because of this. It feels really fresh and I love using it, it's organic as well which is a bonus. I know anything containing Dead Sea minerals is supposed to be amazing for your skin so had to give this a try. Its available from Holland & Barrett for £7.99.
Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Exfoliating pads

This has actually been a constant must have item for me for years so not a new product, but it definitely deserves a mention. If I ever feel like I need a little extra in my cleansing routine but don’t have time for a face mask (or more likely am too tired and can’t be bothered to do a face mask) I use one of these cleansing pads. It just gives me the feeling that I’ve cleansed a little deeper than just using face wash and got rid of anything clogging my pores. These are £4.99 in Boots, I really recommend having a tub of these around.
