This has become one of my post baby must haves! As any woman who's had a baby will know, pregnancy and breastfeeding will batter the hell out of your body and once it's all done you just want to feel like yourself again, but then you look in the mirror and realise you have all these new stretch marks and wobbly bits to deal with! For me, I wasn't so bothered by my post bump belly as I only got a few stretch marks (see my blog post about taking care of your bump and avoiding stretch marks) but it was once I'd stopped breastfeeding for good that I was like, yikes! I need some help! I'm pretty sure not having to deal with the aftermath is part of the reason why some women don't stop breastfeeding their kids for years! Because the girls will be destroyed, for real, and nobody wants to see that. That's kind of an exaggeration, but also not. Haha.
I have to say, I thought most of the creams out there were quite gimmicky and I was honestly ready to just live with the sag for the rest of my days, but vitamin E is great for the skin so I gave this a try. I've been using it once a day for the past month and it has made such a difference, my skin feels firmer and smoother and more even. I'm not exactly back to pre-baby standard but I'm very happy with the results and feel a lot more body confident.
Anyone who has recently had a baby, or maybe just lost some weight and is bothered by their stretch marks or wants their skin to feel like it has a bit of life in it again should definitely try this. I love the fact that it's organic as well, since having kids I've become a lot more conscious about the products I use. I'm far from being one of those people who only use organic products, but when it comes to body lotions and creams I feel a lot better knowing I'm using something organic or at least with less junk in it, and Dr Organic products are great. So if you're looking for something to give your skin a boost you should definitely try this.
